Melett Polska recently celebrated its 4th anniversary, with a trade show at its Bydgoszcz facility, in partnership with neighbours CIMAT.

To help better serve the Polish market, Melett opened a sales and distribution centre in 2013. Such has been the success in the Polish market that in November 2016 the team moved to its new, larger, Melett owned building with over 890sqm of warehouse space.

Over 150 guests attended the event over two days, along with local celebrity strongman, Marcin ‘Kukaj’ Sendwicki, World Champion in the under 105kg category.

Trends in the Turbocharger Aftermarket

Following the successful launch of complete turbochargers last year and valuable feedback from customers, Melett have now introduced Turbine Housings to its range of precision engineered turbochargers and parts.

The newly launched Turbine Housings include solutions for turbos from the Volkswagen Audi Group, Ford, Mazda, Citroen, Peugeot, Volvo, Mitsubishi and Hyundai.

This is part of Melett’s continued support to the professional turbo aftermarket industry by supplying replacement Melett quality components for those times when our customers experience cracked or badly worn turbine housings.

Melett Ltd, the leading global brand in the development, manufacture and supply of precision engineered turbochargers and parts to the professional aftermarket, has launched its Melett Authorised Service Centre (ASC) programme in Italy.

Melett chose the recent Autopromotec show in Bologna to announce the first four ASCs; independent turbo repair specialists which have the necessary equipment and expertise to offer high quality turbocharger repairs, using Melett parts.

The first ASCs announced are; Agiturbo in Bari; La Meccanica Turbo Diesel in Genova; Tecno Turbo in Malgesso and Turbo-Tech in Creazzo. Further new ASCs are due to be confirmed soon.

The Melett Authorised Service Centre concept was piloted in Poland, commencing in 2015 and Italy is the second country to have the ASCs.

Melett’s decision to introduce the ASC programme has been influenced by changes it has witnessed in the global turbocharger repair industry. Years of growth have seen new start-ups entering the market, alongside the experienced original businesses, but some of these new entrants lack the skills and proper equipment to undertake high quality repairs. This has also coincided with a surge in the availability of low cost, low quality parts.
