We are recruiting an experienced Technical Engineer to join our team in Barnsley.

The role:

  • Testing and Validation of Melett components
  • Scanning, flow testing and recording of test analysis data of OE Turbos and components as required by the NPD process
  • Supporting the Application and Development Engineers with any Production Tooling requirements
  • Liaison with the Production Department during NPD launch
  • Provide support to the Technical Department with technical queries on warranty claims, ECR’s, CCN’s and ICAR’s
  • Assisting the NPD Project Manager in the purchase of OE samples and components
  • Managing the OE stock locations for Engineering through PDB
  • Co-ordination of all Engineering vehicle maintenance and servicing, taxation etc.
  • Managing 6S and HSE compliance for the Engineering Workshop
  • Assisting the Engineering department and Engineers as required
  • Collecting and interpreting technical data

To be successful in your application, you will:

  • Have experience of rotating equipment and/or mechanical assembly
  • Be organised, efficient and able to plan your own work and priorities
  • Be an excellent communicator and able to multitask
  • Possess a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficient with computer programs such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Access
  • Have an understanding and professional approach to Health and Safety
  • It would be desirable if you had experience with 3D CAD – preferably Solidworks, a good knowledge of turbocharger fundamentals, automotive industry experience, an understanding of Electro-mechanical systems and actuators

The role:

  • Dealing with deliveries and associated paperwork
  • Locating stock into racking
  • Work closely with Quality control to ensure product quality is maintained at required level.
  • Dealing with returned goods from the customer and suppliers
  • Picking items from computer generated pick lists
  • Packing and labelling of finished goods
  • General housekeeping duties
  • To participate in stock taking and cycle counts

We are recruiting an experienced Production Packing/Kitting Operative to join our team in Barnsley.

The role:

  • Preparing kits of components ready for the assembly process
  • Packing of the finished product (turbochargers and the CHRA element of a turbocharger).

To be successful in your application, you will:

  • Essentially have had previous experience in a role requiring high quality output and possess a high level of manual dexterity.
  • Have previous experience of working in an engineering environment and assembling precision components would be preferable.
  • Need to have the right to work in the UK without restrictions or permits.

  • 40 hours Monday – Friday (7am – 4pm with an earlier finish time on Friday)

We are recruiting an experienced New Product Development/Design Engineer to join our team in Barnsley.

The role:

  • Design and development of Turbos and turbocharger components
    Completion of new Turbo Investigations
  • Inspection/ Measurement and Scanning of component parts
  • Design and completion of 2D AND 3D CAD drawings and models
  • Testing and validation of sample parts

To be successful in your application, you will:

  • Have experience in product design and development
  • Hold good knowledge of 2D or 3D CAD modelling ideally Solid Works and/or AutoCAD
  • Be knowledgeable in precision measurement/GD&T and general engineering principles
  • Have good understanding of following product quality processes
  • Be passionate for product development & R&D
  • Need to be organised, with good planning skills
  • Carry excellent communication and team working skills

The package:

  • 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday
  • 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays) rising to 27 after 5 years service and 28 after 10 years
